FOR YOUR EVENT

1. LOCATION

These are our most common locations at the moment (2025):

    • Public Transportation: Train to Winterthur, then bus stop Technikum, or 10mins walking

  • Alter Stadthaussaal

    • Address: Marktgasse 53, 8400 Winterthur (maps)

    • Parking: Parkhaus ZHAW SoE Eulachpassage / Manor

    • Public Transportation: Train to Winterthur, then 5mins walking

  • Rosengarten Winterthur (Summer only)

    • Address: Hochwartstrasse, 8400 Winterthur (maps)

    • Parking: Parkhaus Archhöfe

    • Public Transportation: Train to Winterthur, then 10mins walking (a bit uphill)

  • Swing Scouts (summer bad weather backup only)

    • Hotel Wartmann, Rudolfstrasse 15, 8400 Winterthur (maps)

    • Public Transportation: Train to Winterthur, then 2mins walking

2. SCHEDULE

19:00 Welcome & warmup
19:15 Beginning of the dance (approx.)

We value our time and the time of our participants, and therefore do our best to end the event on time.

3. EQUIPMENT

What’s available:

  • A table

  • Electricity

  • Speakers with RCA inputs (Cinch)

  • RCA to RCA Cable (Cinch, 5m and 20m)

  • RCA to XLR Cable (1.5m)

  • XLR Cable (2m) + XLR Extension

  • A small lamp for your desk

  • Light decoration, such as candles and incense

What to bring:

You are required to bring your own DJ equipment (controller, music, computer, chargers etc.). If you do not have an RCA output in your controller, please bring your own cable (ideally 5-10m) to connect to the speakers via RCA or XLR. No other cables will work with the speakers.

4. MUSIC JOURNEY

There are no specific requirements in terms of the kind of music you play. The only thing we kindly ask is that you come down to below 100 BPM after the peak, so our bodies and nervous systems can prepare for Savasana. Please prepare 1-3 slow, meditative songs for the end and count in about 5 minutes of silence before we bring people back and close the event.

5. COMPENSATION & PAYMENT

The compensation will be discussed upfront and agreed upon via a contract. The compensation is not negotiable, regardless of the number of participants, and regardless of the travel cost and meal expenses.

You are kindly asked to send an invoice with the agreed compensation amount to info@martinafink.com within 10 calendar days of the event. The invoice needs to include the event date as well as “Ecstatic Dance Winterthur / Martina Fink” as the recipient of the invoice. For Swiss DJs, please include a QR code from your bank account for your invoice.

Important: Invoices through Whatsapp, Instagram, Telegram, or any other ways but email will not be accepted.

6. COMMUNICATION

Any and all communication will happen through email, or phone/zoom, if necessary. To keep my private life separate from work, any event communication via Whatsapp or Instagram will not be responded to.

7. EMERGENCY

In case of an unforeseen emergency, please contact me immediately via info@martinafink.com or +41 79 732 39 91.

8. PHOTO AND MEDIA

I may take photos and videos during the event for promotional purposes, while keeping everyone’s privacy. If you do not wish to appear in such media, please let me know prior to the event.

Should you take some footage, please make sure to keep people’s direct faces out of the recordings/photos.
